We at AMAF have aspirations to improve the quality of our community by providing quality exposure to the many aspects of both martial arts and fitness. It’s only natural that we start with the youth. Through our free programs, we hope to provide opportunities for children and teenagers to participate in training that provides engaging activities that blend physical fitness and martial arts techniques.
Currently, we are offering a boxing and fitness class every Saturday at 10 AM, and the classes are located at the Bullpen Fight Club in the Nelson Jordan Center.
Our athletes need only bring comfortable clothing, running shoes, and a guardian to sign the waiver. Your children/teenagers can expect to work with Coaches Josh and Damon on an extensive list of fundamental boxing techniques and drills. The class is usually split into segments of: warm up and stretch, boxing technique, and bag work/conditioning. We’re also working with Coach Seals to incorporate some of the basics of lifting.
In February, we’re expanding upon the number of days we offer training- as well as the focus of our training. We will also be offering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Details coming soon.
